Content of our programme
A sunset sightseeing tour of Budapest by boat, where you can float between the two parts of the city and get a taste of the style and atmosphere of both. Candlelit romantic dinner with a 7-course menu. Both starters, soups and main courses include meat-free, meat options with international and Hungarian flavours. An entertaining folklore show with talented dancers in colourful costumes, who show us the evolution of generations of traditional folk dances in pairs and as individuals. Our musicians enchant the audience into the world of Hungarian folk music with both classical folk music elements and instruments.

The more adventurous of the gentlemen are welcome to try their hand and compete in the art of boot-clapping, but the ladies can’t shirk the responsibility of balancing a wine bottle on their heads.

There is, for example, one of our pride and joy, the beautifully carved cimbalom, which is a special instrument with a special construction, a special sound and, once again, a special use, which deservedly takes the attention away from the other instruments every time it is played. We’ll let you in on a little secret about the cimbalom, because from the terrace in the bow of the boat, you can see through the glass how our cimbalom musician plays and plays the most beautiful melodies.
And at the very end of our show, all those who have been captivated by the exhilarating show can learn the basic steps of Hungarian folk dance with the help of our dancers. So we will also create opportunities for interactivity during our presentation. We don’t just put on a show, we create opportunities to dance together, to share experiences.

Even our starters have a homemade flavour, as well as a vegetarian option for those who want it. The main courses offer the largest selection of choices, with fish and grilled cheese for those looking for a lighter dinner, but there’s good news for meat lovers too, with stews and duck on the menu. On our dinner cruise, you can not only get to know Hungarian traditional dances, where they show their talent through traditional dance steps in pairs or alone, our trained dancers also create an opportunity for you, with enough courage and a little guidance, to learn the basics of how to tie your boots, or in the case of ladies , how to balance a bottle of wine on their head. In this way, you can take away not only fantastic memories from our boat trip, but also a piece of Hungarian culture. We put together our program in such a way that the guest who visits us gets as complex a picture of the world of folk music motifs as possible, as it includes both old folk and more “modern” (less than 200 years old) folk elements. In our program, folk melodies are played, folk instruments are played, and operetta, as a representative of modern folk music, brings smiles to faces with its well-known melodies, while our eyes are dazzled by the movements of the dancers and their folk costumes.
